Although WIT generates portable and standard HTML code, using W3C recommended Cascad Style Sheets (CSS), all web browsers may not correctly display some elements of page. The two most compliant navigators are Netscape (4.7) and Microsoft Internet Explorer (from 4.01 release), with a slight advantage for MSIE 5, or better 5.5.

WIT helps to view the rendering of generated pages with any navigator. A dialog box helps to choose the default browser, by specifying its access path. This dialog is also invocated the first time a page is viewed.

Pressing the search buttons automatically finds the needed programs.
