As WIT evolves, supplemental structural elements are developed. Widgets mimic the behavior of some elements that are common to blogs : quick access to categories of information, that are dynamically built by WIT as you modify the idea tree.

WIT widgets are introduced in your pages through the use of WIT variables.

The picture below shows the use of some widgets in the page header (horizontal drop down menu), and in the page left page (simple tree menu, and custom fields values widgets).

Most of WIT widget need no specific options in the structure template, but have style options in the style template for a better control.
